Splunk practice exams
Administered through Cisco's certification tracking since 2026, Splunk certification pairs a core-to-architect platform ladder with a dedicated security-defense track. Practice for both tracks is below; every question carries its answer key and an explanation of each option.
What is Splunk certification?
Core certifications progress User, Power User, then Advanced Power User (SPLK-1001/1002/1004). Administration splits by deployment: Enterprise Certified Admin (SPLK-1003) versus Cloud Certified Admin (SPLK-1005), with Enterprise Certified Architect (SPLK-2002) above. The security track — Enterprise Security Admin (SPLK-3001), Cybersecurity Defense Analyst (SPLK-5001), Defense Engineer (SPLK-5002) and Defense Architect (SPLK-5003) — is where hiring demand now concentrates. From October 2026 registrations move into Cisco's system under new SPK codes; SPLK codes still identify the same exams in study materials.
