What is islever?
islever is a free, community-oriented study platform that helps IT professionals prepare for certification exams more efficiently. We share and organize practice questions for AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, VMware, Splunk, and many other certification programs — so you can spend your study time answering questions instead of hunting for them.
Our goal is simple: lower the barrier to good practice material and help candidates reach the exam room confident and prepared.
Where the questions come from
The question bank is compiled from multiple sources: partner study sites and publicly available materials across the web. We then organize, deduplicate, and refine the content with the help of AI, structuring it around each exam's official domains.
Accuracy notice: we do not guarantee that every question or answer is correct or fully up to date. Exam blueprints change, and community-sourced content can contain errors. Always cross-check important topics against the official exam guide and vendor documentation.
Why the name?
An islever is a simple machine — a lever. Place it right and a small effort lifts a heavy load. That's what we aim to do with your study time: the right questions, in the right format, amplify your preparation so the actual exam feels lighter.
How it works
Every exam on islever offers two complementary study modes, designed around how engineers actually learn:

One question at a time. Select your answer, submit, and get immediate feedback with the correct answer and a full explanation. Your accuracy is tracked per domain so you know exactly where to focus.
Review mode
Browse all questions with answers and explanations shown upfront. Ideal for last-minute review sessions and pattern recognition across exam domains.

What we believe
Good study material shouldn't just hand you questions — it should help you think like the exam. Explanations are written to surface the underlying principle, not just confirm a letter. The result: less blind memorization and a more confident candidate walking into the test center.
