Microsoft practice exams
Role-based by design, Microsoft certification maps exams to job functions — Azure, data, AI, security, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 — instead of product versions. The practice banks below mirror those job roles, each question backed by an answer key and per-option reasoning.
What is Microsoft certification?
The program starts with Fundamentals exams (AZ-900, AI-900, SC-900, DP-900, PL-900) that assume no experience. From there, role-based Associate and Expert certifications cover Azure administration and architecture, DevOps, data platforms, AI engineering, security operations and identity, Microsoft 365 endpoint and collaboration administration, and Power Platform. Exams are refreshed continuously as the platform ships, so current exam guides — not older courseware — define the target.
